the University of Pretoria and the University of Cape Town.

Objective

The objective of the Mathematics in Finance conferences is to create a collaborative environment for academics, postgraduate students and practitioners who are working in the broad areas of quantitative finance, risk and financial data analytics. We anticipate that senior delegates will use this opportunity to reflect on open problems and relevant challenges in these areas, and to point to avenues for future research. We further hope that the interplay between theory and practice, and issues relating to the dissemination of knowledge and teaching in these fields, will be deliberated.

Conference Dates

Arrival on Sunday 12 July 2026.
Conference from Monday 13 July to Friday 17 July 2026 (end at lunchtime).
Departure on Friday afternoon or Saturday 18 July 2026.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 2 March 2026.
The deadline for decisions is 16 March 2026.

Registration

Registration will close on 25 May 2026.
Note that the number of participants is limited to 110.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
